AWESOME. A lot of times I'm disapointed with free programs because they are too bloated with non-essential functions, they don't work quite right etc. This was EXACTLY what I needed for a problem I was troubleshooting with 9 servers who all connect to each other. I fixed the problem much more rapidly with this utility on each.

I have used your product to set up ping list for a major Data Center move, consisting of several hundred units.

I was able build a script that generated the entries for the INI file from a list extracted from a XLS sheet that included HOST names and IP addresses.

The only problem I had was being able to show entries that had problems. It would be real helpful if there was some way to unload, or log problems to a file, or unload into the problems to a Web page.

The only way I had to distribute problems was to do screen prints, and that was real messy, as it was several screens long.

The function of your software was a real time saver, and insured that after the move all of the units were connected to the network.

i use reliance netconnect HUAWEI EC 325 wireless modem to connect but when i keep something for download at night the connection gets disconnected for no reason wireless signal strength in my home is maximum but even after using freeping my connection gets disconnected i add host correctly what must be the problem please help me

Freeping does not do sweeps

I had downloaded the program to do some ping sweeps of various subnets, but it does not have that capability, so I deleted it.

Just the Job

FREEping review

I found the tool, although very basic to definetly work as advertised.

However I did not have a very good experience with qarchive because I had to go to the vendor site actually download the tool. After puting in my information I received no prompt to download the tool. I'm sure it was not blocked by a popup blocker. Not very good service.

Very useful utility

This free utility is very simple in concept but achives its purpose very well. If you do not have a large data centre then this is a perfect solution. We have several local production servers outside of the main data centre monitoring system and this tool monitors those.
